We had our second photoshoot last weekend; we're very pleased to say that all went wonderfully well & we wait with much excitement to get the photos up on the site within the next couple of months (we'll be keeping you on the edge of your seats for now though!)

Also coming up at the end of this month we have a very exciting event for those of you who will be in Glasgow on the 28th March!

Lilly Wiggler Couture has teamed up with Glasgow based aerial group Spinal Chord to bring you "Celestial Insanity" an aerial fashion show featuring Spinal Chords acrobatic all stars the Aerolocos!

"Spinal Chord and Aereolocos brings you this two part event, an exciting family fun-day and a fabulous aerial performance featuring an aerial fashion show with corsets from Lilly Wiggler Couture.

The moods and caprices of our angels in their ever revolving chaos and order of their human counterparts.

Catch the Celestial Insanity carousel to experience the emotions and frivolities of our guardian angels. Some off duty, others laid off but all coping with the infectious virus of humanity.

Come along and bring your children from noon to 4pm to enjoy on some of the aerial equipment and have their picture taken."

Tickets for the show are £10 online or £12 on the door, for those in looking to be dazzled and amazed, this is something you definately do not want to miss!

For full details (& to book your tickets) head over to http://www.spinalchord.com

Well we had best be off for now as we have many fabulous aerial acrobats to dress this week!

Burlesque at Christmas - It's all happening on December 5th!

This year most burlesque fans will be facing a bit of a dilemma as, while we have two amazing events on our burly calender, both spectacular nights fall on Dec 5th!

Fear not though! It is a tough decision but you can rest assured that whichever night you choose, you wont be disappointed!

Option 1: Club Noir Christmas Spectacular

When - Dec 5th

Where - Glasgow's O2 Academy

What is it - Club Noir's annual Christmas bash, one big burlesque party filled with glitz, glamour & extravagence to round off the year!

Reasons to attend:

  1. As I'm sure I've mentioned before, this is officially the world's biggest burlesque club, you know it has to be good to hold such a momentous title!
  2. The performers ooze talent, glamour & an ever tempting appeal and the only place you'll see them work the stage is at Club Noir!
  3. The outfits, at Club Noir both Performers & crowd dress to impress; its your chance to embrace that ultra-glamour alter-ego, dress to the nines & take in all the amazing outfits around you too!
  4. If you like dancing the night away till your feet are nearing death in those amazing shoes (I know I do!) well after the show you're treated to Club Noir's very talented Resident DJs!
  5. There's something for everyone, modern & retro sounds, a bar area dedicated to rockabilly tunes, amazing burlesque, fashion to die for and lots (and lots) of glamourous people!

Lilly says: Club Noir is definately somewhere   you have to go if you want to embrace the new wave burlesque, and from my experience the Christmas events are among the best there are!

Option 2 - Ministry of Burlesque's High Tease & Vegas

When - 5th December

Where - The Old Fruit Market, Glasgow Merchant City

What is it - The MOB crew team up with Vegas to celebrate the festive season with A bit of Burlesque and swing music!

Reasons to attend:

  1. The venue, the Fruit Market is beautiful venue spacious yet filled with nostalgia and an old world prettiness!
  2. The performers, MOB hires   a very talented group of new & established performers (many of them internationally famed) & they are very lucky to have the comic mastery that is Desmond O' Connor!
  3. Its a very traditional burlesque show, classic burlesque performances in a relaxed sit-down atmosphere, its perfect if you're after something more relaxed.
  4. You have the option of attending Vegas, If you are after a night of dancing but want strictly retro beats, the swing styling of   Vegas,   with Elvis and Frank Sinatra playing out the night, will be your dream come true!
  5. Like Club Noir, High Tease is the perfect place to dress to kill & admire all the attendees who have done the same!

Lilly Says: If you're strictly a classic burlesque fan, then High Tease will be the perfect night for the your festive season, or even if your not, I'm confident you'll love the show and the experience!
